I’m a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner building the CE platform I wish I had. The idea started on the drive home — wondering why every form of continuing education I took was worse than the conversations I had with colleagues about real cases.
The honest answer: most CE was built to satisfy a requirement, not to teach. The evidence of learning is a multiple-choice test I could pass without remembering anything the next week.
Ibis Learning starts from a different place. If clinicians learn through conversation and clinical reasoning, then the conversation itself is the evidence of learning. The platform is built around that premise — for PMHNPs first, because that’s the specialty I practice in and understand.

Today, Ibis Learning delivers conversational CE and issues certificates with unique verification IDs. That’s the product.
The architecture is built to carry the broader work of staying licensed, documented, and audit-ready — education, credits, license tracking, and organizational reporting in one system rather than scattered across vendors.
That direction is the company, not a feature we’re shipping this quarter. We mention it because it shapes every decision we make — what we store, how we verify, what we don’t claim.
About the certificate

Ibis Learning issues continuing education certificates, but we are not an accredited CE provider — and we’re careful not to imply that we are.
Every certificate includes a unique verification ID and is backed by timestamped records of engaged learning time and embedded assessment through clinical checkpoints. The platform is designed to align with CE documentation standards, so the underlying audit trail — session activity, eligible time, demonstrated understanding — is reconstructable and auditable.
Accreditation is a separate, ongoing conversation. In the meantime, what we offer is rigor of documentation, not a claim of approval.
